SMS main mission is to develop, design and produce state of the art customer specific optical and micro mechanical sensor systems. In addition SMS is particularly equipped to develop sensor solutions for harsh environmental conditions.
The optical group of SMS has a special focus on image sensor products such as automotive cameras.
The micro mechanical group is concentrating on robust as well as lightweight pressure sensors.

The SMS high-performance cameras are designed for automotive requirements and professional video surveillance, offering the choice of either a wireless external W-Lan module or a wired network connection. Due to the modular design of separated power and imager boards SMS cameras cover a wide range of customized solutions.

We design, develop and manufacture compact pressure transducers for automotive requirements in high volume production. Our sensors are available in different pressure ranges and can be supplied with customer specific electrical connector, pressure port and LIN, PWM and analog voltage interfaces.
